I’ve always wanted to camp in the back of my pickup and have been looking for a truck bed air mattress and tent. I bought both from Umbrauto. This air mattress is heavy gauge vinyl, with a flocked vinyl (soft) top. The bed is designed to fit between the wheel well “humps” in an SUV but also comes with two attachable bolsters to fill those spaces if the width of your SUV/Pickup bed is wider. The pillows that come with the mattress are tiny and would be silly to try and sleep on them. The kit also comes with a 12v auto plug inflator which works great. THIS WAS EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED AND IS AN EXCELLENT MATTRESS!
This comes with a 12 volt air pump that you plug into the car power outlet (used to be a cigarette lighter socket), so you have everything you need right in the box. The material seems sturdy and the it has a nice soft pile to it, so that if you had to sleep directly on it, it wouldn't feel like a pool float. There are actually 5 inflatable parts: the main double bed, 2 side arms, and 2 "pillows". They have varying valves, but all have a larger valve for quick deflating, and a second valve you push or screw in for inflation. This is great, as it makes deflation easy. In the video, you can see the inflation part (sped up). Depending on your SUV, you may need one or both of the side arms just to fill it out. They have a couple of buttons that slide into slots in the side of the main bed to keep them in place, which is useful.
We found that we could sit up in the back of the SUV with the bed inside it, but it would depend on your own SUV. The bed was comfortable, and fits into the width of your SUV, and you can make it as firm as you like. One good thing we found, was that it's not one big bed, but two, so your partner doesn't have to be affected by your movements, comfort level, or vice versa.
This is a great inflatable mattress. The included air pump fills and empties it quickly. It is comfortable when inflated. Fits well in the back seat of the SUV or the bed of my truck. The material is thick and sturdy. Well made and seems like it will last a long time.
This is my gift to myself. No hotel rooms no problem. Scared of Air B&B's have creeper hidden cameras no problem. Have a Bed in my SUV. It is very comfortable and easy to sleep peacefully. I have traveled for 4 nights and saved a ton on hotel cost! This is for anyone ready to get anyway for a weekend trip on one tank of gas! 10/10 Highly recommend!
It's a terrific little air mattress. Got real good thickness to it. Real firm but yet comfortable. You could tell it's well made. Definitely has great materials.
